The Swedish flair of progressively melodic last metal, combining the post-hardcore aggression and croaky vocal manner of calamitous metal with the more than technically proficient and relatively melodic guitar lines at the heart of near European alloy acts of the Apostles, has become so popular among bands in the United States that yet some early subgenre identify, "Swedecore" (that is, Scandinavian-style alloy as played by non-Nordic dudes), could be coined for American bands care From Autumn to Ashes and Shadows Fall. North Carolina's Glass Casket adds regular more than tune to their grindcore than most, which combined with their untypically (for metal) clear-cut in effect looks makes Glass Casket the closest "Swedecore" has yet come to an act on the lines of Good Charlotte or blink-182: a potency noseband to the commercial mainstream for a musical style that prides itself on its cultishness.Glass Casket formed in Winston-Salem, NC, in 2001, comprised of isaac Merrit Singer Adam Cody, guitarists Dustie Waring and Ian Tuten, bassist Sid Menon, and drummer Blake Richardson. Gigging around the same college scene that spawned Between the Buried and Me, Glass Casket united with that band's producer, Jamie King, to record their debut record album, 2004's We Are Gathered Here Today. Regular touring and good reviews brocaded the band's profile through 2005, and a video for the album's single "In Between the Sheets" appeared on one of MTV's more than indie-minded outlets. Building on the maturation attention, Abacus Records reissued We Are Gathered Here Today with all-new artwork and an uncensored version of that video in March 2006. Glass Casket's second criminal record album, A Desperate Man's Diaries, was released in June 2006.

Lowe And Nanny Battle It Out In Court

Hollywood lead Rob Lowe's former nanny-goat is claiming victory in her legal battle with the actor, after a judge threw out four of Lowe's claims against her in court on Thursday . Lowe sued Jessica Gibson in April , claiming she tried and true to extort money out of him. Gibson countersued, accusing the actor of groping her and exposing himself. In a hearing in California on Thursday Superior Court Judge Denise de Bellefeuille dismissed four-spot of Lowe's accusations - including his claim Gibson defamed him. Gibson's attorney Gloria Allred says of the decision, "This is a huge victory for us today. We appear forward to continuing with our sexual harassment suit against the Lowes." But Lowe is refusing to accept defeat, and his lawyer Larry Stein is encouraged by the judge's decision to toss out one of Gibson's claims, telling People.com, "We didn't lose anything today. I'm delighted with the dismission we won, and in essence, our lawsuit against Gibson remains totally intact." Lowe is also being sued by a bit nanny, Laura Boyce, simply has denied any improper behaviour.
